Inocente has been selected as one of seven films for the Short Film Festival Award at the 21st Annual Heartland Film Festival. Shine Global and the filmmakers are thrilled to be honored by this amazing festival and Producer Albie Hecht and Executive Producer Susan MacLaury will attend the festival in Indianapolis taking place October 18-27.
Founded in 1992 to honor beautifully made films that celebrate the positive aspects of life, The Heartland Film Festival is now one of the fastest growing film festivals in the US. Festival Awards are given every year to a selected group of independent filmmakers for demonstrating excellence in filmmaking and for best meeting Heartland’s mission. Shine Global’s film War/Dance, also directed by Sean Fine and Andrea Nix Fine, screened at the 16th edition of the festival and won a Crystal Heart Award.
