About our
Internships
At Shine Global, our mission is clear: to improve the lives of children by telling powerful stories that raise awareness, promote action, and inspire change. We believe in the transformative power of storytelling to create meaningful change and we have an impressive history of doing just that. We have worked with some of the most visionary creatives in entertainment to produce dozens of films, winning more than 100 awards, including an Oscar and two Emmys. We don’t just create films though: we power impact campaigns that drive real-world change.
As a small nonprofit, interns are an integral part of our team. This provides them with the opportunity to be exposed to the inside workings of independent film production at a variety of stages as well as providing insight into the workings of a nonprofit organization. This position is fully remote position, but in-person opportunities are sometimes available in NYC and LA.
For all internships positions we are looking for candidates that:
- Are an undergraduate student of an accredited college or university
- Be able to dedicate 2-3 days a week
- Have at least 3.0 GPA
- Are interested in social advocacy, educational outreach, non-profit business, and/or media
- Have excellent organizational, communication, writing skills, and research skills.
- Be familiar with MAC OS, Microsoft Office, social networking, and internet research
- Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines with little supervision
- Must have your own computer or access to a computer and internet to work remotely.
All internships are unpaid but we will work with you to receive college credit if you need it.
