Meet our Spring 2024 Interns, Tamaiya and Sydney!
Tamaiya Anderson
Tamaiya Anderson is a junior at Georgia State University and is majoring in Anthropology and minoring in Film and Media. She is very interested in the entire filmmaking process from the initial idea to its execution. She hopes to use her knowledge of Anthropology to inform her film studies. Tamaiya plans to work within the film industry in directing and screenwriting for the most part. She joined Shine Global to gain the experience of working with a team as well as advocating for children’s stories that desperately need to be told. She is focused on crafting stories that represent marginalized groups.
Sydney Sutherland
Sydney is a senior at Butler University studying Creative Media & Entertainment with a minor in Strategic Communications. She has a passion for creative storytelling and communications, most specifically through film. She aligns heavily with Shine Global’s mission of promoting positive change and impact, and is very excited to work with the stories they create.
